What You Can Expect

Sessions are typically 60 minutes in length and take place in a comfortable, quiet setting that supports thoughtful work. Sessions can also be done virtually.

In our first session, you’ll have the opportunity to share your story and give voice to the concerns that have brought you to counselling. There is no expectation to know exactly what to say or where to begin — we start wherever feels right for you.

From there, we gradually go deeper, exploring experiences, patterns, and possible root causes of distress. This process unfolds at a pace that feels respectful and supportive, with care taken to ensure that therapy remains a safe and collaborative space.

Over time, our work together may involve reflection, increased understanding, and the development of new perspectives that support growth and well-being. Therapy is not about quick fixes, but about creating space for insight, healing, and meaningful change.
